Day 21: Sabbath Reflection
______________________
Welcome to the final day of our journey through spiritual disciplines, prayer, and fasting!
You did it—we are so proud of you and your commitment. Whether this journey has been smooth or stretching, we trust that your time with the Lord has been deeply meaningful. Our prayer is that these past two weeks have not only drawn you into His presence in new and fresh ways, but also equipped you with practical habits and spiritual disciplines you can carry into your daily life. As John Mark Comer calls it, this becomes your “Rule of Life”—a framework that shapes how you live, love, and follow Jesus with intentionality. This week, as we finish out our 21 days of prayer and fasting we pause and reflect on what it means to do what Jesus did—to put the Gospel into action in our everyday lives. Welcome to Sabbath.
This is a space to rest, to breathe, and to be reminded that your worth is not in what you do, but in who you belong to. Let today be a sacred pause as you intentionally draw near to God. Sabbath is a sacred day set apart for connection—with God, with others, and with your own soul. It is a time for rest, renewal, and reflection on how God has been stirring your heart throughout the week.
As you reflect on your 21-day journey—
especially this past week, walking in obedience to do what Jesus did—take a moment to pause and listen:
What does it truly mean to love like Jesus?
What areas of your life need to shift so that you reflect Him more clearly?
How can you walk in humility and steward what God has entrusted to you for the advancement of His Kingdom?
Who is God prompting you to share your story with—and what has kept you from saying yes?
What does community look like in your life, and how are you engaging in it?
We hope this journey has been transformative—that you’ve built spiritual muscle and developed habits that help you live more fully as a follower of Jesus. When we started 21 days ago, we invited you to ask:
“What am I expectant for God to do?”
Now that we’ve reached the end, we’d love to hear how you’ve encountered Him. If you have a story or testimony, we invite you to share it with us—your journey could be the very encouragement someone else needs.
Church, we are so proud of you and all that God is doing in and through your life. The world is waiting, hungry for hope and the good news of the Gospel…
Now go—be who God made YOU to be.
