Over the past few years God has used Rescue House to change my life. I’ve seen Him answer so many of my prayers and my relationship with Him is as strong as it’s ever been, especially since getting plugged in with Rise Up Youth. He’s blessed me with a great Godly community that has become my family. God has also given me the opportunity to use the gifts He has given me to lead worship and show my love for Him through that. I’m thankful for His faithfulness in my life and that He’s helping me discover who He created me to be.

Rescue House has been such a blessing to me. When I first started coming here in 2020, I was weary of getting plugged in. After going to “The Weekender” and taking that next step, I can definitely say that I have grown so much in my walk with Christ. I have been blessed to find a second family with the Production Team. There is such a tight-knit bond on our team that I had not found anywhere else before coming here. This church has pushed me out of my comfort zone by getting involved with Rise Up Youth. God has taught me so much through my guys’ Small Group. Seeing them grow in their relationship with Christ has blown me away. I am so happy that I’ve discovered who God made me to be!

Rescue House was the first church I’ve ever called home. I was saved in March of 2018. Since then, I have faced difficulties, illnesses and other battles in my life. In December of 2022, I was told I would have to move to Arkansas to get treatment for a disease that at that time, had me in a wheelchair. I was slowly dying at the age of 15. Not only did my Rise Up Youth family rally around me and lift me up to the Father, but our church prayed for me, and welcomed me back with open arms when I was healed by the disease that had made me unable to walk. I now get to lead worship for students my age, and have the best team/family here I could ever ask for. God has used Rise up and Rescue House to change my life.

Since attending Rescue House my family has become more Christ centered and stronger than ever before. We began attending Prayer Nights, Sisterhood, Brotherhood, and The Weekender. All of these events the church hosts have had such a huge impact on my family.

Rescue House has helped my husband and I to find our calling of being the hands and feet of Jesus through serving in Kids House. Our son looks forward to attending church every week and gets excited the second we pull into the parking lot. Kids House is the best place for our next generation!

Rescue House is not only a church, but it has become our family. We are so grateful the Lord led us here. God is doing amazing things!

In Isaiah it says “I will do a new thing, it will spring forth and you will know it”. This is the only way I know how to express what being a small part of RH Sound has meant to me. The last time I had picked up my guitar to lead worship was 15 years ago. What I thought was a season of the past was just lying dormant. God makes all things new, and the desire of my heart was no exception restoring the Joy of my salvation in my sweet spot of purpose. Each week, I get to use my talents, creativity and skill as an offering on this team to bring my offering as we worship our risen king. Bringing a little bit of heaven to earth!

  • It’s hard to sum up all the life change that has happened for me and my family in the 10 years we have attended Rescue House Church. I’ve received Salvation in Christ, I’ve been baptized, I’ve grown in my faith, we’re raising a daughter in the ways of the Lord…it’s just too much to list.

I tend to stay in my comfort zone but after attending Sisterhood for a while I was asked to be a table leader; I could feel that uncomfortable feeling in the pit of my stomach so I knew that was the Holy Spirit pushing me to do it. Studying God’s Word with other women of different life stages is incredible and life changing.

If there are any women out there that are on the fence about attending Sisterhood and have “that” feeling in the pit of their stomach, that is the Holy Spirit wanting you to break out of your comfort zone and He wants to do more in your life than you can imagine, if you let Him.

  • When I started to attend Rescue House with my family I spectated for a long time. Coming from a much smaller church in PA I was like, “I just need to blend in.” After doing this for quite some time I knew God had made me for more.

I remember praying and asking God to direct me on how I could serve Him at Rescue House. I remember soon after that Jessie, our student director, asked if I would be a small group leader for Rise Up. God answered my prayer. I am so incredibly blessed to lead a group of beautiful girls and help point them to Jesus the best I can.

I am so thankful for a church that provides opportunities for people to discover who God made them to be. Because people in our church are living out their purpose, I have witnessed my son choose Faith over Fear, watch my girl lift her hands in worship, and watch my youngest love others like Jesus.

Believe me, following what Jesus has mapped out for your life is way better than ANYTHING you have planned. Take the steps you need TODAY to figure out what His plan is for you. I promise it will be the best decision you make today.

  • I had been living “alone” for 30 years, and now I see why I had struggled so hard.  I felt unworthy of friendships and connections. So many things felt missing in my life. I had reached a point where my mental health had me trapped and I was at rock bottom.

When my husband and I came to Rescue House, I took Pastor Matt up on all the church had to offer to help me discover who God made me to be!  My life has taken a complete 180!  Rescue House helped me understand that God calls us to do community with others. They showed me what that looks like, and they are helping me to live it out!

I’m truly living now and I can’t wait to see where God leads me!

Real. Relevant. Inspiring. Life Changing.

These are some of the words we hear from our guests as they explain their first Rescue House experience to us. We hope you’ll agree.
