Baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation.
What is Baptism?
Baptism is an outward expression of the inward change that Christ has done in your heart. It publicly symbolizes the fact that you crossed over from death to life in Jesus.
When you are laid back into the water, it symbolizes Christ’s death and burial; but as you are raised out of the water, it shows that Jesus has raised you to new life in Him (Colossians 2:12).
Why Should I Be Baptized?
After Jesus’ resurrection, He gave all his followers a command to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19). He gave clear instruction that baptism was an important next step for someone who had become a believer. Even though He was the Son of God, Jesus still set the ultimate example for us by getting baptised as well (Matthew 3:13-17).
Because of the example Jesus set before us and the importance He placed on baptism, this is an important next step for you to take if you have accepted Jesus as your Savior.

What if I was baptized as a baby or a child?
The decision to follow Jesus must be a choice of the believer. You can not make that choice as a baby, but we do believe some children can make that decision for themselves. If you did not make that decision as a child (it was your parents decision), you should be baptized as an adult.
What if I have already been baptized as an adult?
If you made the decision to follow Jesus, and were you baptized by immersion, you do not need to be baptized again; however, if you have not been baptized since you made a personal decision to follow Christ, your next step is baptism.
When should I be baptized?
