Day Twenty

Heavenly Father,

Today we are humbly asking for discipline. We know You are a father who disciplines those You love as a father the son in whom he delights, guide us in Your wisdom and instruct our hearts to embrace discipline with gratitude. 

Help us to endure training, knowing that, though it seems painful rather than pleasant at the time, it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Strengthen us to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, and gentleness, running the race set before us with perseverance. In Your mercy, lead us in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake, transforming our spirits to reflect Your holiness. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord,
