Day Sixteen

Heavenly Father,

Today we gratefully and humbly come sit at your feet asking for you to create in us pure hearts. We pray you would wash us in your presence and your word as we sit close to you. We pray that our hearts would be so close to yours that your holy fire would burn away all the impurities until all that remains is you. Your word promises that if we are pure in heart, that we will see you and today we pray that you would reveal yourself to us more and more. Draw near to us as we draw near to you please! 

Help us to not shy away from correction or try and hide any parts of ourselves or our hearts. We ask that you guard our eyes, ears, mouths and bodies as we protect the gates that lead to our hearts. Help rid us of thoughts and desires that do not align with yours. We pray that you would purify our hearts by faith. Keep our hands clean, our hearts pure and minds in line with yours. It is in your son’s holy and precious name, Jesus that we pray,
