Day Seventeen

Heavenly Father,

Today we lift up a prayer to have a mindset like your precious son and most high priest, King Jesus. We pray that you would empty us of ourselves and fill us with your Holy Spirit. We pray that you would help us to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. We ask that you help us to have thoughts that honor you, put you first, seek your will and your ways. 

Help us Lord to be transformed by the renewing our minds. Help us to lay down our own selfish ambitions and pick up our crosses daily to follow you. We pray that you help us to focus on whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, help us to think about these things. We pray that you would continue to give us wise thoughts and sharp discernment to live in your will and be shaped by your word. Thank you for giving us the mindset of Christ Jesus. It’s in His precious and holy name that we pray,
