Day Nineteen

Heavenly Father,

Today we lift up a prayer for the boldness to share our faith. God, we thank You for the ways that You have been so faithful and steadfast. We believe in Your Holy Word when it tells us to have reverence in our hearts towards You and always be prepared to give a message of hope when asked. We pray that Your Holy Spirit would be in all of our encounters today and that You would provide us with opportunities to share Your good news and be able to tell of Your love and Your faithfulness. We pray that we wouldn’t hold back from sharing in the hope that is Your son Jesus! 

Help us to proclaim Your gospel at home, in the coffee shop on the way to work, at our jobs, at school, at lunch with coworkers, at the gym, out at the park, while we’re out shopping, caring for our children, at the dinner table with families or even on a ball field. We pray that it would be Your love that would speak and touch the hearts of those around us no matter where we are or what we’re doing. Help us to not get hung up or nervous about what words that we would say, but let it be You speaking through us through the power of Your Holy Spirit.

Help us to be the salt and light in this dark world and to stand out as a testament of how differently life can be with the Hope of Jesus as the anchor in our lives. We thank you for the story of encouragement you have instilled in each one of us to be able to share what great things You have done! It’s in your son’s Holy name, Jesus, that we pray,
