Day Nine

Righteous Father,

Thank you for the perfect model of unity we have in the Trinity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We praise Your unity that makes you the only true God—there is no other! We give thanks and praise for the unified character of the Godhead.

We pray as the body of Christ that we stand firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel. Help us to walk in a manner worthy of this calling with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

We ask, Father, that you protect us by the power of your name so that we will be united just as you and Christ are united. May we experience such a perfect unity that the world will know that you sent Jesus and that you loved us even as you loved him.
