Day Fourteen

Heavenly Father,

Today, we humbly and gratefully enter your presence with praise for the love that you’ve lavished on us. We can’t thank you enough for showing us the unfailing and endless love that you have for us day after day. We ask that you would show us how to love one another just as you have loved us. 

We pray that others would know that we are your disciples by the way we love the people around us. We pray that you would extend to us a deep love that covers a multitude of sins. We pray that you would give us kind, tender, forgiving and compassionate hearts that look like Jesus’. We pray that we wouldn’t just love others with our words but in truth and grace with our actions.

We pray that you would show us how to be devoted to one another and put others before ourselves because we know that anyone who loves you must show love to those around them. You care for all people and we ask you’d give us the same burden to love and show up for people how you do. Help us to make humble amends when we can and move forward in unity.

Thank you again God for the faithful, steadfast and unchanged devotion you show to us. Teach us to pour out that same love to others. We praise your son, Jesus Christ, the ultimate sacrifice and example of your love for us,  in His name we pray,
