Day Five

Almighty God, today we lift up our next generation.

We pray that even at a young age, they would come to know Jesus. That they would have a genuine faith of their own and a desire to know you, to follow you daily and live a life that honors your name! You have created each baby, child, student and young adult in our church and community with a unique purpose to carry out your good and perfect will. We pray they would become disciples that make disciples. We pray they are filled with the Holy Spirit and learn to walk in obedience to God’s word. We pray they wouldn’t let their age deter them from living out a life filled with God’s direction and anointing. We pray for their friendships and relationships to be Godly and fruitful. We pray they would know that they have a God and a church family that love them and believes in what God is going to do in and through their lives. We lift up all the leaders that are investing in each one of our children. We pray for parents as they point their kids back to the Lord. We pray for fresh hearts and minds and for protection as they start this new school year. We love you and pray your hand of favor over them.
